Artisan Bread

Available on Saturdays at 9:00am

We use grade flours milled from select blends of hard wheats, grown using sustainable farming practices.

All of our bread contains pre-fermented dough (“mother dough” or “levain”), which has several benefits: there is more time for yeast, enzyme and bacterial actions to develop on the starch and proteins to develop in the dough. This in turn improves the keeping time of the baked bread (without adding artificial preservatives), and it creates greater complexities of flavor.
